Vincentian Awarded Prestigious U.S. Fulbright Scholarship
The U.S. Embassy to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States is pleased to announce that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national Jai-Len Williams, is currently in the United States pursuing graduate studies, funded by the U.S. Government through the Fulbright LASPAU scholarship. Jai-Len, a Legal Officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, is undertaking her studies at Fordham University in New York where she is pursuing a Master of Laws degree (LLM).
The Fulbright program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government, and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright LASPAU program is affiliated with Harvard University, administered by the Latin American Scholarship Program of American Universities (LASPAU).
