United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle Visit to Barbados

The United States Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE will pull into the Port of Barbados on Friday, June 1, for a three day port call during which the ship will be open to the public for free tours. The 295-foot Barque EAGLE is the flagship of the U.S. Coast Guard. She serves as a training vessel for Cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. EAGLE is the only active U.S. military sailing vessel.

EAGLE will be moored at the cross berth inside the port from Friday, June 1 until Monday, June 4. Visitors may enter the port through the main gate to park in the port parking lot, and continue through the customs and baggage hall to visit the ship. EAGLE will be open to the Barbadian public for tours during the following times:

Friday, June 1, 2018: 1300-1600

Saturday, June 2, 2018: 1100-1800

Sunday, June 3, 2018: 1000-1800
