Reduced Availability of U.S. Citizen Services at U.S. Embassy Grenada Starting July 17, 2015

Effective July 17, U.S. Embassy Grenada will offer limited consular services to U.S. citizens resident in or visiting Grenada.  Adult U.S. citizens who are renewing their 10-year-validity passports may continue to submit their applications directly to U.S. Embassy Grenada and book appointments via our main number (473-444-1174/75) or by emailing StGeorgesACS@state.gov.

A Consular Officer from Bridgetown will provide services to U.S. citizens in St. George’s on a monthly basis.  First-time passport applicants, applicants age 16 and younger, Consular Report of Birth Abroad applicants, and those seeking notarial services may make appointments to see the officer on these days.  The dates for these appointments will be announced separately, and will be posted on the website of Embassy Bridgetown.

Appointments for these services should be made in advance by contacting BridgetownACS@state.gov, or by calling +1-246-227-4000 and requesting the American Citizen Services unit. U.S. citizens who cannot wait for the monthly consular visit can choose to seek services directly in Bridgetown at any time.

For emergency citizen services involving the life, health or safety of U.S. citizens during business hours, persons should contact the staff at U.S. Embassy, St. George’s, Grenada, at +1-473-407-2495.  After hours and on weekends, callers should contact the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown at +1-246-227-4000 and ask for the Duty Officer.

U.S. Embassy Grenada regrets the inconvenience of this temporary reduction of U.S. Citizen Services and hopes to resume full services as soon as possible.
