Health Alert – U. S. Embassy Bridgetown (January 25, 2018)

Recent tests at several U.S. Embassy residences revealed bacteria at elevated levels in the tap water. As a precautionary measure, the U.S. Embassy recommended to its staff to boil their drinking water or use bottled water. The U.S. Embassy will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates accordingly.

U.S. Embassy Continues to Support Entrepreneurship and Innovation

As it continues to support and encourage entrepreneurship and innovation across the Eastern Caribbean, the U.S. Embassy Bridgetown is pleased to announce, that through its Federal Assistance Program, it provided a grant of USD$5,000 to Barbadian entrepreneur Gregory Skeete for Phase 1 of his “Pilly Pelican Presents 50” educational project.
