Event: Delta announces April 4 flight from Grenada to Atlanta
Delta Flight Scheduled
U.S. Embassy Grenada worked with Delta airlines to arrange a commercial U.S. repatriation flight from Grenada to Atlanta on April 4 to return U.S. citizens in Grenada to the United States. To reserve and pay for seats on this flight, please go to delta.com or call 1 (800) 221-1212. There is the chance that the timing of the flight could change based on the availability of aircraft, so please monitor your reservations.
At this time, there are no other confirmed flights from Grenada to the United States, so per the U.S. Department of State Global Level 4 Health Advisory, U.S. citizens who live in the United States should arrange for immediate return to the United States unless they are prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period. For questions on the status of other flights, please contact your airline.
Travelers should be prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice. Many travelers worldwide have reported unexpected flight cancellations and limited flight availability. If your travel has been disrupted, please contact your airline.
COVID-19
The Government of Grenada announced on March 26 six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grenada, bringing the total to seven.
State of Emergency
The Grenadian Prime Minister announced a 21-day limited state of emergency that went into effect at 6 p.m. March 25. The government enacted numerous regulations under the state of emergency, including limiting movement for non-essential personnel, limiting or canceling all gatherings and social events, imposing a curfew from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., giving expanded authority to police and emergency responders, and closing most businesses that cannot support telework or virtual work.
Certain businesses deemed necessary, such as banks, grocery stores, and pharmacies, may operate with limited capacity during certain hours. Emergency operations and access to medical care will continue.

All U.S. citizens in Grenada should read these regulations, as they apply to everyone with few exceptions. Under these regulations, the police have the authority to arrest, fine, and imprison those who break the regulations.
Travel
Grenada is currently closed to all regular commercial passenger flights. Additionally, Grenada is not allowing passengers from cruise ships or pleasure craft to disembark.
