The U.S. Embassy and American Film Showcase invite you to apply for the 2022 Barbados Documentary Workshop.
U.S. Embassy Bridgetown will host its 2022 Documentary Workshop in-person April 19-24 for amateur and professional videographers and filmmakers. Three virtual 90-minute evening sessions will be held in April prior to the start of the workshop. The U.S. Embassy is honored to announce the participation of American Film Showcase Envoy and filmmaker Cole Sax and documentary filmmaker Mack Woodruff. The workshop is free of charge and open to citizens of all OECS countries residing in Barbados. Film students and amateur and professional filmmakers are welcome to apply.
Participating filmmakers must be available for the three virtual evening sessions (to be scheduled in early April) and day-long workshops April 19-24 in Barbados. Participants will cooperate as a team to create a documentary short to be screened to a public audience April 24.
